Mariel earned her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Anthropology from the University of Central Florida. She is admitted to the Florida Bar and certified to practice in the U.S. District Court of the Middle District of Florida. In addition to her legal expertise, Mariel is linguistically diverse, with fluency in Spanish, English, and German—allowing her to serve South Florida's diverse multicultural community.
